Jill Pineda is an upcoming Fashion Stylist/Designer who was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. While growing up, her parents ran a successful clothing business where she learned everything there is to know about the process of making beautiful, quality clothes. This helped her develop a passion and an eye for fashion at a very young age. At the age of 12, she started forecasting trends, taught herself how to sew and has even designed her own clothes.
In 2003, she moved to Los Angeles, CA where she worked in the Medical field. Unsatisfied with her day job, she decided to take a risk and leave her comfortable lifestyle to finally pursue her passion for fashion. In May 2011, she enrolled in School Of Style and graduated as one of the school’s top students. She immediately worked with one of Hollywood's most sought after stylist, Monica Rose and quickly made her mark in the styling world. Within months, she has worked with celebrities such as Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian, Kylie, Kendall, Bruce and Kris Jenner, Vanessa Minillo, Mindy Kaling, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, and Petra Ecclestone. She has also worked on red carpet events for BET, American Music Awards and various projects for magazines and local TV stations.
In December 2011, she created her first start up online store, JillPineda.com that specializes in unique fashion bow ties. Perfect for both men and women, her bow ties are designed and are carefully handcrafted in Los Angeles, California. She also utilizes her eye for fashion and trend forecasting skills by personally hand picking clothes, accessories and handbags that are available on her store. Most of which are hard to find and unavailable anywhere else.
What makes her online store unique is that she actually uses her styling background to help her customers as well. For each piece of clothing, she shows you at least 3 different ways to style/wear them. Her store also features a number of how to videos that are not only FUN but are super informative as well.
