Collar My World

Detachable collars. What do YOU think about them?

Lately they have been an obsession of mine. I've been so collar crazed that I had made a whole collection of detachable skull collar necklaces for my online store . This piece I'm wearing is made of high quality cotton fabric in a cute pastel pink color. But since I don't want them to be too girly, I added a few studs, spikes and a detachable skull charm to balance out the feminine color. Viola! Perfectly pretty yet cool and punk-y at the same time. You can also pick them in your favorite colors like aqua, yellow, lavender, baby blue and leopard print. And if these styles are too goth for you, you can detach the skull charm or you can also try our rhinestone & beads or peter pan styles. They are super FUN because they instantly add character to your outfit. They are also perfect if you like the layered look but don't necessarily like feeling hot especially during the summer season.

It's been pretty exciting because customer feedback on them has been amazing! I even received a couple of requests if I can make tutorials on how to style them so, here's an outfit that I came up with.

The Naven Twins

Hello everyone! My apologies for being MIA lately but I'm BACK! 
I'm really loving all the colors that I see on racks nowadays and I especially love these Naven items that I scored from their sample sale a few weeks ago. I mean REALLY, it was a grrreeeaattt deal and I'm so glad I dropped by their showroom. 

The crop top and skirt are made out of 100% silk and I just couldn't help but fall in love with their beautiful selection of colors (*sigh*)

Speaking of which, I've also met some new fabulous friends, Elena, Anita & Sara from the Naven showroom that have come to love the items on my store as well. It all started when I was browsing around the showroom and one of their designers, Anita complimented me on my purse. It just so happen that my purse at the time was from my store so I just randomly told her & Helena that it's available on jillpineda.com They visited my site on the spot and LOVED it and placed a big order of purses, bracelets and necklaces! I was so thrilled!

The next day I came back with their orders and it was a shopping galore! I also spotted more Naven items that weren't there the day before so I just HAD to shop again ayhihieee! Another exciting part was that I got to meet the actual designers themselves, TheNavenTwins Kim & Alexis McClay and my GAWDDDD!They are GORGEOUS!

I mean, I've been around some of the most beautiful high profile celebrities around but I was never star struck by them. HOWEVER, when I saw Alexis & Kim? I was super star struck and couldn't talk much lol! They just have that "it" quality about them that when they enter a room, everyone will just automatically stop and take notice. Of course add their fashion sense and everything else is history. They are the real fashion STARS and when I say that I mean it literally because their collections have already graced Neiman Marcus' luxurious racks of high quality and fashion forward clothes for quite some time now. They've also conquered numerous stores nationwide and are continually growing worldwide. Oh honey, they are no joke!

See this is one of the reasons why I love the Fashion industry so much. If you stay in it long enough, you will meet the kindest, most amazing and most inspiring people ever! People who are out of this world talented and are brave enough to express themselves through not only their clothes but through pursuing their dreams and their overall lifestyle. 

**I just had to insert a picture of mr. squirrel over here. He was frolicking around the park while we were taking pictures. Isn't he cute? If he wasn't rabid I'd probably be harassing this little fella 'til his tail gets bald.. Awww that's mean, good thing his rabid -hands off- ** 
Oh I'm so glad I dropped by their showroom! Not only did I score some beautiful Naven pieces, I also gained new super fabbbb friends and got myself a pair of gorgeous fashion role models =)
