It's FRIDAYYYYY once more! Hope you guys had a great week. It's been a busy week for me and I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. I did a lot of shopping, shooting and editing for my store this week. It's always exciting cause that means I'll be having more FUN and new items coming up. Super cute necklaces, bracelets and bags that I'm obsessed with! **ahhh so cute!** I've been getting a lot of great feedback about our newest picks and I'm pretty sure you guys will love them too!
Aside from adding more fabulousness to my store, I've also been more active in going to the gym lately. I actually surprised myself because I don't like running at all but for some reason I've been able to run on the treadmill for at least 2-5 mins. straight at a 5.5-6.5 speed. I know it may not be that impressive especially for the more physically fit people out there but that's already a record for myself ayhihee!
Enough about working out, let's talk about this outfit. I'm really loving the fact that summer time = color time! Although I'm a stick to black and neutral colors kind of a girl, I'm still always down for some fun colors. I mean, don't you just love how colors instantly change your mood?
I really wanted to style this ahhhmazzingly cute floral pattern boston style bag so I decided to build on it. When I style an item as colorful as this I would usually just pick one color from the item and match it with either a top or a bottom and keep the rest of the outfit neutral. However, in this outfit I decided to go all out, play with colors and do a pastel color blocking.
The mint green sweater is my biggest obsession at the moment so I'll go ahead and give you a heads up cause I'll probably be wearing this sweater multiple times from this point on =P
I luv luv luv the sorbet colored button down shirt I have underneath the sweater (also my current obsession by the way!) It's the same top I wore on this post. Since this shirt is made of lite sheer chiffon material, it totally works if you still want to rock a "layered" look even during the warmer seasons.
One of the key things to making an outfit work is knowing when to STOP. Sometimes people have a tendency to do way too much and it kills the outfit. I have to admit I'm guilty of this too at times so I force myself to stop.
"Hold it... that's it.. we're good.. I can stop."
The stop sign in this outfit? The neutral colored shoes =)
Awww I love this photo of me and my adorable nephew.
He wants to be in the picture too!!
Special thanks to my photographer and his assistant for this shoot! My dad and my nephew! Aren't they precious? =)
