Went to The Americana with the hubby the other day. It was so nice out, the weather was great! Not so warm and yet no so chilly, which was why wearing my Juicy Couture track suit made perfect sense to me.

Now I know, I know the track suit is not very well accepted in the fashion world but then again, I'm really not a big fan of limitations. The idea of not being able to wear something just because someone else thinks it's not "IN" does not and will not stop me from wearing what I think is cute. Heck, these suits are so comfy!!! I totally agree with Oprah and understand why she loves these track suits so much! Oh Oprah, I luv u!!

Synopsis: The story is about a drug addict who owes his drug dealer some money. He tries to solve the conflict, by asking help from his half sister who is also his lover. Kissing scene involved.



Role : Asian American / Asian / Preferably Filipino Actor: Male: 22-30 years old. Must be fit and has an authoritative look. Must have no accent (filipino) and must be a strong actor.

The Devil Wears Prada

For my birthday weekend, my hubby took me to Cabazon Premium Outlets in California. Mind you, I haven't been to this place in years, but I noticed that not much has changed except for a new store under renovation, which is PRADA and or Miu Miu. They just barely opened that they don't even have anything on their shelves except for some purses and a few racks of men's clothes. ( you'll see how empty the store is )

Anyway, while I was looking around... This purse caught my attention (photo below). I literally gasped when I saw it thinking "wow, that's so cute!" I looked at the price tag and it says $530.00

I picked up another purse ( which didn't get the same reaction as the first one ) looked at the price tag and this one is $430.00 hmmmm.. Started trying both on and checked myself out on the mirror. 

My mind started running a 100 mph, speeding from thoughts of "getting it or not, It's Prada, but it's Nylon and it's $530 but then again it's my birthday I deserve it or maybe not really, or maybe I should get the cheaper one, oh the other one's way cuter, Honey what do you think? Nahhhh, but wait someone else might get it, oh I'll come back, it's just a purse, but I don't have any Prada purse yet, hmmm it's not even leather and it's $530?!?!, this will look cute with my other dress, it looks cute with what I have on now actually, oh gosh...." It was like the devil and the angel fighting in my head. 

Draining isn't it? This went on for like 30 minutes! Finally the little devil said, "ok, I'm getting it! $530 Prada nylon purse, you're mine". As I walked to the cashier, the sales lady took the purse and I hear the numbers on the keyboard clicking away ready to make that transaction, I felt HEAVY and I couldn't reach for my wallet... I held up my hand and told the lady to STOP I changed my mind, I apologized for the trouble, took a deep breathe and walked out of the store.

All of a sudden it's like my angel slapped me with a huge pile of practicality and convinced me not to reach for my wallet and hold up my hand to stop the lady instead. I just couldn't get my mind wrapped around getting a $530.00 NYLON purse?! I mean come on, NYLON? That's what they use to make flags, banners and tents!!?! And it's probably not even a yard of nylon and it's $530?! I mean I know what I was really buying was the brand but then again maybe if it was made of leather, a rich luxurious type of leather, then that's a different story.

So I walked out of the -near empty- Prada store (as  you can see in the background) proud of myself for making a wise decision LOL! My hubby was proud too. But I didn't go home empty handed of course. I got me some quality clothing from Calvin Klein that didn't cost $530. You'll probably see me posting those items soon. PLUS, my in laws threw a very nice and YUMMY BBQ party for me right after our trip to Cabazon, which means more to me than anything. I feel so blessed and LUCKY to have them in my life. *Sigh* my angel never fails to disappoint me, love her =)

If the devil wears Prada, then I guess I'm no devil haha! Listen to your angel folks! That's it for now, until my next post! =)
