 I don't mean to sound weird but I'm one of those people who can walk in a room and instantly sense what the energy of the room feels like and I have to say that as soon as I walked in the house, I felt a rush of cleansing and peaceful energy around me =)

First thing that caught my eye when I walked in was this "TEAK DOG" made of Teak of course. So friggin adorable I want one for my house!!!


I LOVE the huge open space and the high ceiling!




This cabinet is made out of recycled cardboards, papers and newpapers.

The pink room below is one of the teenager's rooms. Check out the wallpaper! It's 3-D! Also made out of recycled paper and newspapers. How cool is that?!


This is the second teenager's room. Her bed board is made out of old window panels that the family restored and put back together. Everything else are made of organic materials.





The details on the bathroom sink are actually old recycled BEER BOTTLES!



I LOVE this photo of the Polar bears snuggling!!! 



This gadget monitors the amount of solar energy generated by the solar panels on the roof of the house and how much the house consumes.  YES!!! SOLAR PANELS are generating the electricity for the entire Zenergy house. I wasn't able to take photos of the panels but if you look at the exterior of the house,  you'll be able see them a little bit ( first photo ). AMAZING what technology can do!  





These little note card stands are also made of recycled wood. 











Floor is made out of recycled wood of course =)





The Bathroom floor is made out of recycled corks!

Oh these steps are surprisingly unique! If you look at them from the picture they look like they are ordinary blocks of stones. Solid and boring. However, they are far from it because these blocks are actually made out of recycled tires and they are SOFT. They remind of those therapeutic mattresses or memory foam, that's how soft they are!







LED lights are used all throughout the house, as they are much brighter and consume less energy.



This was awarded to the owners of the house, Ron & Tammy for constructing an energy efficient home in Studio City, CA. 
An award very well deserved =)

Last weekend I had the chance to visit a lovely home that's truly ONE OF A KIND. I wasn't expecting to have such an experience but interestingly enough, it just came my way effortlessly. I will be posting more details and photos on my next entry, but in the meantime let me give you a synopsis. The home is called

"The Zenergy house. It demonstrates how easily green design can be accomplished by using current proven technologies" 

Yah, GREEN as in eco-friendly lol! 

You'll see the front of it on the last photo of this series, it's DOPE! I can't wait to post it =) 

Anyway after the tour in the Zenergy house, my hubby and I drove down to Old Town Pasadena to get my Dad a father's day gift.  I got him a pair of khaki shorts from H & M haha! Here's to my goofy,loving,wonderful fathahhhhhhh <3 you!

Bolsa Chica

My hubby took me to a random trip to Bolsa Chica Beach, CA last weekend. I've never even heard of the that beach until he took me there. He said his parents would always take him there when he was little, which is so sweet because now I feel like we're re-living those moments. It really touches me when I see family traditions get passed on from one generation to the next. After all, life is too short. *Sigh* it gives me a huge sense of relief knowing that some things DO and can last forever. Like LOVE and whatever your parents taught you, if you just pass it on to the younger ones.

After our beach trip, we went to Captain Jack's Restaurant where we enjoyed the most delicious seafood meal (by far) that I've ever had! We ordered the BEST Alaskan King Crabs, GIANT Shrimp Cocktails and Ceasar Salad with the again the BEST homemade Ceasar dressing as well! Oh gosh, I am starting to drool just by thinking about it LOL!

 Anyway, it was sooooOoooOoo good!!! My hubby was so satisfied too so he started telling his mom about the place and guess what we found out? His parents used to go there a lot when they were our age too.

Life is amazing!

I love American Apparel!!! I think their clothes are so "dancer friendly"-->if there's such a term. 

It's always my -go to- shop whenever I need an outfit for shoots and performances. My god, I love their disco pants, leggings, the lace tops, crop tops, sweaters, knee highs, EVERYTHING!!!  Oh if only I can afford to buy the whole shop haha! 

So since I love American Apparel so much, I decided to style and post an outfit from them.
